REVIEW : WARDAH PORE TIGHTENING TONER

Hi, again!  ^_^

Today I'm gonna talk a little story about one of  a substitute product. Yes! I'm talking about my empty Etude House Wonder Pore Toner that I've bought in 250 mL size and I've used only for couple of months. And yes, I got too drift away from happiness to have that "Wonderwoman for My Pores" thing. So,  I used it too much so it last shorter than I calculated. LOL. 

How regretfull I am :(

Because I should do something to my pores and I can't wait any preorder, so I just bought this subtitute product. And.... here it is. Proudly presents .....

Yeah.... Its Wardah Pore Tightening Toner Everybody.... >_<

Its a lot cheaper than Wonder Pore (absolutely). This is a local Indonesian brand which have so many great skincare product.

I've used their whitening line which I love so much. Well, maybe I don't use it as much as my husband do. Yes, I did him weekly facial treatment with Wardah Whitening Line such as whitening facial foam, facial massage cream, facial scrub, and then I use Lightening mask which contains clay. His skin is getting so much improvements.

These are some explanations of this pore tightening toner :

I'll translate it as "a Toner which rich of Aloe Vera Extract (as moisturizer), Zinc Gluconate & Witch Hazel Extract (for reducing excess oil production dan shrinking pores). Its formula will makes your skin fresh and matte."   

How to use :

After cleansing, use pore tightening toner. For optimal result, use Wardah Acne series (Acne Cleanasing Gel, Acne Treatment Gel, Pore Tightening toner, Acne perfecting Moisturizer Gel and Acne Gentle scrub).

Compared to Wonder Pore ? Well, it's just a cheaper version alright. So, I found some unfriendly ingredients here guys... and actually what bothers me so much is its alcohol contents. I'll say that this toner contains alcohol more than I could inhale. Its smell so strong of alcohol. But its fine as long as it doesn't break me out or dry up my skin. Anyway, its cheap (about IDR30.000 maybe about ~ USD2,9).

How about its ability to clean up my pores?

Here is the nasty proof to my after clean up skin 

 

 See? There's still some dirt on my skin, and this toner can maximize my cleansing. So, its a plus for it.

As for pore tightening?

I don't really see the difference. Thats because my pores is smaller than it used to since I used SKII FTE and Missha Time Revolution FTE lately. But, my sister whom complaints about her big pores (after false step of using BB cream) says its working. Her pores shrunk and her face is less oilier now. So, another plus to this product, again. As for my Hubby, I could see his pores around his nose is getting smaller and less whiteheads and blackheads around his nose and chin. Ah... He looks very good looking (only in my eyes  ;P).   LOL.

Conclution :

This product is really worth to try

For whom :

• Need a good quality skincare 
• Have small budget (like me and my sister ^_^)
• Does not allergic to alcohol 
• Can resist a strong alcohol scent

Advise :

If you really want to see the best result, then you could use Lightening facial foam, Facial Scrub and Lightening Mask too. 

MY STRAWBERRY LOVE : WARDAH STRAWBERRY BODY BUTTER AND SOPHIE PARIS STRAWBERRY BODY CREAM

I loooooove.... loooove.... strawberry. I have strawberry body wash and body lotion small set from The Body Shop. I have strawberry body wash from Cusssons Kids. And, at last, I got Body cream and body butter with strawberry scent from Wardah Line and Sophie Paris skincare Line.

Here's my review of those two body moisturizer I love. 

Wardah Strawberry Body Butter 

As you can see from pictures above, it has fresh strawberry pictures on the lid and it has inner lid as a sealant, so it wont leak. This body cream jar size is pretty big, about 11.5 cm in diameter, bigger than my palm anyway, but, don't be fooled by its size, because it contents is.... 150 mL only. Gosh! I'll run it for a month or less, because I love to applied body cream right after shower and towelling myself. Its just like locking every moisture inside my skin all day. 

So, after about 2 weeks of using, its contents left only a quarter. Argh... >_<

Sophie Paris Strawberry Milk Body Butter with antioxidants and vitamins 100g :

Although its only 100 g, but it last longer than Wardah Body Butter. Why?
Because its texture is thicker, stickier and oilier. So, I just need about 10g to applied all over my skin.
But i don't like to use it at night, since its stickiness is kinda make me itch (my skin is quite sensitive with stickiness).

BRTC VITALIZER C10 AMPOULE : AFTER 1,5 MONTHS OF USED (SKINCARE REVIEW)

I've bought it in March, the very same time with Missha Time Revolution FTE. So, it's about 1,5 months or so. 

It's just a 10 ml tester I've bought from Mylovelysister.com. I love tester and sample size, because I have to try it for sometimes to assure that my skin could tolerate the skincare. 

I have quite sensitive skin, even perspiration could cause a breakout *Ouch!*. So, whenever I have to work outside, which is very, very hot and burning out my skin, I have to bring wet tissues and dry tissues, plus hand sanitizer on my pouch. 

I've seen some reviews of this serum. They said its really worth to try. Its really works on troubled skin and acne scars, and red spot. So, I did really tempted to try.

MY DAILY SKINCARE ROUTINE : CLEANSING AND MASSAGING

No matter how much my activities everyday, I always diciplined myself to wake up early in the morning (about 5-6 a.m), praying, then doing anykinds of a housewife do everyday.

No matter how tired I am another day, I always have to do my routines everyday, very strict, indeed.

Alway, always, cook our own meals and do laundrys, arranging and choosing anything we need to bring to our workplace everyday. Kinda boring and tiring, but I liked it. I like every feminine work. Well, (maybe) because I'm a woman. What a lame reason. LOL.

 And tha routines including how I treat myself (body and soul). I have a strict rules, always clean up my face every afternoon after work and never goes to bed without doing some skincare treatment first. 

Yes! Thats my rules. 

I imitate Koreans and Japanese skincare routines, every steps. They have 5 steps, minimum, to cleanse their skin. This are some steps I do :

cleansing oil ---> facial foam ---> toner ----> mask ---> starter --->  essence ---> eye cream--->  moisturizer ----> sun cream (for day use only) ---> vitamin E oil / sleeping pack

   

In some case, I'd used petroleum jelly to moisten up my eye and lip area ( I have normal lip condition), and sometimes I applied it to my brows, lashes and smile area to give nutritions and preventing future wrinkles. But petroleum jelly is too thick and oily to be used daily, so, I change it to vitamin E oil.

Do you wonder what kind of vitamin E oil I use? It's pretty cheap, just any kinds of vitamin E. I used Natur E as my daily nutritions and skincare. 

It comes with soft capsules made from seaweed, so we could cut it to take oil contents inside it. I took 1-2 drops of oil to my hands, rub it until it felts a little warm, and then massage it to my face and neck in a circular way. I love to use Ms. Tanaka's facial massage methods. It gaves some great results to me. Just do it 3-4 times a week to get the best results. 

Those are 3 facial massage styles which I love to do. Just one style for each treatment will do *because its pretty tiring to do whole styles at once though, LOL*.

Why massaging with oils? Well, you could use facial massage cream instead, but try to mix it with some of natural oils to add some moisture, so you don't have to use too much creams. It's a lot  cheaper and better. 

I did this for about 1,5 years and it gaves me excellent results, which, I'm not just got better skin texture, firm and supple cheek, brighter eyes, no eye circles, no comedos, no fine lines, and, I think my skincare works better.

You got to know tha most of Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese girls never skipped facial massaging for their weekly skincare routine. That's why they look younger and prettier. Facial massaging could also shaped up your cheek, chin and nose. I feel that my cheek is less chubby *maybe because I'm getting older too* and my little wrinkles around my eyes is lessen.

Anyway, I should do this facial treatment more diligently to get younger appearance and better skin. Ganbatte!

MISSHA TIME REVOLUTION FIRST TREATMENT ESSENCE REVIEW : THE RESULT SO AFTER 1,5 MONTHS OF USED

Hi, there guys! It's be so veeery... long absent of reviewing and blogging for me. I've been very busy lately. Too many samples to analyze and some long working trips *we're like spents 17-20 hours land transport, including 1-2 hours Ferry transport across mahakam river, yaiiiyyy*

I've purchase this baby from Mirielle Beaute. She gave a low price for all products she sells, and quite fast preorder too *just about couple of weeks*. So, this is the product :

It comes with glass bottle, which, quite heavy. I've losen my grip and this baby falls to my friend's glass cover desk *ouch!* I'm glad nothings broke and shattered. Huft!

They compare it to SKII First Treatment Essence, it's a dupe

It has another lid inside the lid *what??*. Yes. 'Cos its watery (liquid) texture so it's easily to leak if you take it to travel with. So, I'm suggesting that you put some of this product into smaller bottle or small spray container, which I did, and it's really safe anyway.

The result :

• Compares to SKII FTE : I don't see better result so far (I've been using SKII FTE before)
• not suitable for my oily skin (tends to make it oily), so I think its good for normal-dry skin
• doesn't shrink my pores like SKII did
• doesn't lighten my skin 
• absorbs in 1 minute sharp
• feels sticky on my face for about 15-20 minutes though it already absorbs
