My Latest Daily Life

Heyya....... ^_^

It's been soooo very loong.. times I've been abandoned this blog. Tehee... >_<
Yeah, I've been having some bad morning sickness and tough pregnancy at my first trimester. Even got hospitalized for three days because I've had some light bleeding @ four months old pregnancy.

Haa.... I know nothing about morning sickness @ first. I thought it's just some dizziness and nauseas, and some weird taste of food. Well, I've truly underestimated it. Ha...Ha...Ha... Thruth is... I've been having a very bad gastric problem, even some blood come out every time I've threw ups. And I've never felt so sick and weak, and the most of it is an acute pain throbbing from my stomach pass through to my back *I did crying because of it* arghhhh...

Well, yeah, those were just some sacrifices to be a mother. And now.... I'm counting days to deliver my cute and smart baby.
I have so many things to share here. Anything about pregnancy, safe cosmetics and makeup for a mother to be. Just anything. But... I can't share it yet, since I have to prepare so many things for the-DAY.

So, I'll see you with my first baby's selfie. Next time.....

SKINFOOD PEACH SAKE PORE SERUM REVIEW

Hi all... ^_^

I still remember the first time I've using a korean serum about almost two years ago, it's been a free sample from one of Etude House online store which I've purchased Etude House Sun BB Cream. It's a Skinfood Omija whitening serum. From the first try I feel that it was a great serum, because its really light and easy to absorb, and for most it wasn't caused acne or weird feels on my face. Then its a good one since I have sensitive skin.
Maybe thats the reason why I really wanted to try another product from Skinfood.

So, I've purchased Skinfood Peach Sake Pore Serum.
This serum was part of my May beauty haul. I've purchased it out of curiosity about how well its gonna work for my pores, because I've read so many compliments about it. Since I just want to know how its gonna be to my complicated-oily skin, so I bought only few samples first.

I took only one sample for a shot. I'm using the other.

 * Details :

Containing rice sake, peach extract rich in vitamins A and C, and silica powder, this soft essence minimizes shine and the appearance of pores.

* To Use :
After lotion, apply gently and cover face with hands, for deep absorption.

I love its scent. It smells like peach fruit though it last only for few seconds --I think--, but maybe people who didn't prefer scented skincare would avoid this. The scents is quite strong for a sensitive nose. I've read some reviews on makeup alley here http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=136155/Peach-Sake-Pore-Serum/Skinfood/.
Some good reviews for me, and I've proved it to be true. Yeah, it makes my skin less oilier. I don't have to blot my face for more than 8 hours. Yeiyyy!!!

The results in a week of using :
  • No oil blot for more than 8 hours
  • Blackhead and whiteheads lessen
  •  Better skin texture

I've been using this for about three weeks now, and it shows great results. I'll see for further results.
But I still have a pore minimizer serum from OHUI line which I didn't used yet. I'll purchase some more and compared to this serum next time.

MISSHA NEW PRODUCT

Hi all....
Happy Weekend (ノ◒▽◒)ノ
Today I'll share some good news from koreadepart.com. What is it?
New products from Missha ...... Yippie...
Missha is one of my favorite Korean Brand. I have only Time Revolution First Treatment essence for now. I didn't like Missha BB cream so far, because it gaves grey cast that won't blend nicely on my warm skin tone.
But, nevertheles, I still love how they dupe some high branded cosmetics into an affordable one. Thats really great for someone with a low budget like me ヾ(・ω・*)ノ
Here's the new product :
1. Missha Wrapping Coat Spray Mask (Aloe)
 Source : en.koreandepart.com
Prize : 9.32 USD
Volume : 100 mL
Main Ingredients : Aloe Vera

  • Spray type of mask pack that you don’t need wash-off or peel-off.

  • 3 seconds mask pack that offers moisture mask effect instantly as soon as sprayed.

  • Creates moisture coating veil tightly to prevent dehydration and to offer enriched moisture.

  • Transparent gel texture that won’t run down.

How to use :

After your toner, spray 10cm away from the face about 8-10 times with eyes closed.

* After 3-5 minutes, liquid gets absorbed completely. No need additional washing off.
Awww... I want it! ♪(┌・。・)┌
I really need it as my outing basic skincare, because I need to calm my sunburn skin after full activity under the sun rage. Hohoho... and it really saving my time and hygiene too, because it comes in a pump bottle.

2. Missha Signature Complexion Coordinating BB Cream (SPF43,PA+++)[White/Clean Skin]

How to use :

1. Twist the top part following the arrow.
2. Pour small amount, apply gently.

Tip. White type, express clear and bright skin.
Yeah, finally Missha producing the infamous CC cream. But, surely, 13.82USD for 20mL ? Is this for real? Well, Missha is expensive related to their very fine quality. When it comes to compared to the infamous Chanel CC cream or Shangpree Line (about 58-60 USD here), I wonder how good Missha could hold against those.

3. Missha Super Aqua Ultra Waterful Gel Mist

A waterful gel mist? Woow... I wonder how it feels to our skin, because most of facial mist is a liquid or watery. So, what is this gel mist anyway? Hm... I'm really anxious about this.

Prize : 13.82 USD (Ow.... as expensive as the new CC cream)
Volume : 100 mL
Ingredients : Fruits jelly complex (Rambutan, lychee, and starfruit), baobab tree extract, imperata cylindrica
What is  really disturbing me is : if it is Rambutan, lychee and starfruit is the ingredients, why does they put mangosteen picture on the web? Weird

Product Description

* Jelly liquid with full of moisture turns to water drops as soon as sprayed.

Hm... lets think about it ✿乂◕‿◕乂

MILK BENEFITS FOR SKIN AND HEALTH

I love milk.
Since I was a baby I've been a very eager consumer of milk.
I love Nestle Dancow Full Cream Powdered Milk. I think it is the best taste ever. Hahahah...

Milk has so many benefits to our health. Milk is an animal product, whether it comes from Cows, Horses, or Goats. But amongst many of milk products, Goat milk is the ultimate one. Why? Researchers found out that Goat Milk contains high Calcium and Natrium, but low for fat and cholesterol levels. So, it is the best milk to consume, though its not really common to find in local market. Yes, it is a rare milk product. In my City, there's only Cow milk and soy milk available even in a Supermarket.

Milk and milk products contain a good balance of protein, fat and carbohydrate and are a very important source of essential nutrients including:
  • Calcium: Builds healthy bones and teeth; maintains bone mass
  • Protein: Serves as a source of energy; builds/repairs muscle tissue
  • Potassium: Helps maintain a healthy blood pressure
  • Phosphorus: Helps strengthen bones and generate energy
  • Vitamin D: Helps maintain bones
  • Vitamin B12: Maintains healthy red blood cells and nerve tissue
  • Vitamin A: Maintains the immune system; helps maintain normal vision and skin
  • Riboflavin (B2): Converts food into energy
  • Niacin: Metabolizes sugars and fatty acids

Milk products also contain ‘high quality proteins’ that are well suited to human needs. Milk proteins increase the value of poorer quality cereal and vegetable proteins in the diet by providing the amino acids these proteins lack.
Proteins in Milk could gain muscle mass. So, if you drink it as a daily routine, you'll get some advantages in muscle development. As I can say that we'll get a proportional body size but more weight as a result of muscle building.

Milk is not only gives benefit to our body, but it is a great skincare too.
Here's some benefits of milk for our skin (Source : ehow.com)  :

  1. Milk is an excellent facial cleanser. Just dip a cotton ball in raw milk and wipe clean your face with this cotton pad. Then rinse the face with fresh water. So start using raw milk in your beauty routine daily for squeaky clean and fresh skin.
  2. Just apply raw milk over your face and neck. Allow it to dry for ten minutes. Afterwards, rinse your face with fresh water. You will notice a fairer and softer skin within minutes.
  3. Take two tablespoons of milk, one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix well and apply on clean skin. Leave this preparation to dry for ten minutes. This face pack is a mild bleach for your skin.
  4. Blend raw milk with either gram flour or fuller’s earth and apply on your face to lighten the skin naturally. Milk is packed with the wonders of lactic acid, which helps in lighting the skin.
  5. Mash half a banana and few spoons of raw milk to make a paste. Apply on clean and damp skin; leave it on for fifteen minutes. Wash the face with water. Milk and banana mask helps to smoothen out the fine lines and brings an incandescent glow to the face.
  6. Milk can be a rescue to the sun burnt skin. Apply buttermilk directly on your skin to soothe and heal the suntan.
  7. Milk can be rubbed on the scalp to nourish your hair from the inside out. Smear milk all over your scalp and wash off after few minutes. You will get soft and silky hair in a jiffy. This treatment is a boon to dry and rough hair.
  8. Apply the mix of milk powder, almond oil and lemon juice on your face to lighten your skin tone.
  9. Soak up almonds overnight in raw milk and grind in the morning. Apply this mask on your face and neck. Let your skin absorb the natural goodness of this nourishing mask. Use this mask regularly and get fair and smooth complexion naturally.
  10. Take 2 slices of papaya with half a spoon of honey and one spoon of raw milk. Whip them well and apply on your face and neck. This face mask is very beneficial for easing out fine lines and wrinkles.
  11. Daily consumption of milk is also very necessary to beautiful yourself naturally. Milk is bursting with the goodness of many vitamins, minerals and proteins, which beautify your skin internally. Regular intake of milk makes your skin fairer and radiant.
I used milk for a mask by applying some milk on facial cotton and put it all over my face for about 15-20 minutes, then rinse with water. It gaves a brighter and softer skin after I did it. It's became my beauty routine. I used Nestle Bear Brand canned milk.

If you doesn't like its scent or how it feels to your skin (because sometimes milk product is a little fishy), you can find many skincare product which contains milk extract combined with so many great ingredients too. I've copied some of the product from google (tehehe... I didn't have any) here :

I love milk as my basic beauty line because it gaves so many good results and my skin becames fairer and supple after I did milk facial care. It did works for me. But I don't think it could work for everybody (for example : I can't use honey because its break me up very bad), but it worth to try.

And, this is it. I'm happy to share. I'll do my basic milk facial again this evening.
Happy weekend all ^_^

MAY HAUL : OHUI SUNBLOCKS & WHOO GONGJIHYANG CC CREAM

Since I've realized how important a sunblock is, I've decided to try some high quality sunblock and sunscreen to avoid UV radiation. I've been using Wardah sunscreen gel to reduce UV B and UV C radiation. But i need some product with PA++ to reduce UV A radiation. So, in my opinion, more filter is so much better. (ღ˘⌣˘)♥ ℒ♡ⓥℯit

This is my ace for daily makeup ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

I've purchased four kinds of sunblock from my favorite online shop mylovelysister.
I've tried Whoo Whitening Sun Cream SPF 45 before, and I liked it, alot. So, when I see these new CC cream from Whoo Gongjihyang Line, I kinda ecstatic. Wheee.... (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
So, I've purchased these including 3 Ohui Sunblocks, and its SPF 50 PA+++. I'll use it at my next trip to Tanjung for another environmental ambient air sampling at mine industrial area which is freaking hot.

As you can see, they were wrote in Hangul, so... I can't read though *confuse...confuse.. (-_-)ゞ゛
Today I'll swatch Whoo Gongjihyang CC Cream first, others will follow later (I mean... laaateeeer... hahahah 乂⍱‿●乂 )

Here's some explanations from koreadepart.com :

The history of Who Gongjinhyang Seol Whitening Face-Color Sun Cream (SPF46,PA++)

                                       ▶ Made in : Korea

                                       ▶ Major ingredients
: Antler deers extract, Peony extract,  Corni extract

                                       ▶ Product description
: 3 kinds of color (Yellow, Red, Brown ) spreads and give natural look.
: 6 kinds of herbal extract for non-irritation and skin protection.
                                           : Moisturizing and brightens skin.
                                           : Sun protection
                                           : SPF46,PA++
                                      ▶  How to use
: After basic care apply on face.

This is the full size looks :
Here's my swatches :

From left to right, you could see major differences from white cream into blended skintone color. Well, it is a CC cream though. It will change its color tone after smudges and warmed. At the 5th picture, I've layered up with BB cream. Did you notice how it covered my mole? Uhh... it's great.
I use this CC cream as the last but not least makeup routine. Sometimes I put some powder to give matte result and keep my makeup sits longer.

Love it because :
it is a CC cream
SPF 45 PA++
match all skintone
doesn't make my skin oilier
soft and sweet flowery scent
matte finish

 Hate it because :
Very *freaking* expensive, I'll stay with samples (~_~;)

Happy Weekend (๑‵●‿●‵๑)

Few days ago I've found this new product from Nivea. I bought it because it is the first local drugstore body serum, its cheap enough and guaranteed to brighten our skin in 14 days.
